Building opportunities to read books that build cultural awareness and allow for students to build their fluency in Spanish. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read in the target language and help build their speaking and reading skills. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. My goal is for students to have access to more than just their textbook within the classroom. These books are great because they introduce students to important figures of Spanish speaking culture and to experiences of people who speak two languages.

About my class
