I have the privilege of working in a classroom I can truly say I love coming to each day. I teach in a middle school life-skills classroom for students with special needs. My students are clever, creative, intelligent and inspiring. They challenge me every day and in turn, I challenge them. Together we are working to be the best versions of ourselves and each day I see improvements. While they face many obstacles, my students come in each day ready face whatever is ahead. These children I have the privilege of working with are resilient and when given the opportunity they truly shine.
