Detroit is always mentioned when it comes to the poster child for failing inner city schools. My mission is to change that. It begins by getting our kids to make connections, finding something in education that means something to them, and building their interest through projects that immerse them in learning so they can feel fully vested in their education. Your donations will help my students fall in love with, or at least develop an appreciation for, science. Just as every student counts in my classroom, every penny counts towards achieving our goals.
