My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds. They come to my classroom with different ideas, values, backgrounds, and goals. In a school of 3000 students with such varied types of people it is always my goal to offer them as much individual attention as I can. Many of my students come from low-income families and need all of the push they can get to know they can be successful. Although I often hear students talk themselves down or I notice them being nervous to share answers, after working with each of them individually, I've come to learn just how intelligent and gifted they really all are. My constant pursuit is to help each of them reach their full potential.

About my class
