All of my students are considered to be living under the poverty level therefore, it is imperative that when my students walk into my classroom they are provided with the materials they need to have a successful 5th grade. The dry erase kidney table, the flex space wobble cushions, and the pencil boxes will give my students access to use their white board markers during small group instruction, the cushions will allow all of my students to sit on the floor without feeling discomfort and/or get dirty, and the boxes will be used to hold their supplies that need to be carried into the different centers. Allowing my students to have their own materials, and the flexibility of moving around will give my students a sense of accomplishment, and will make learning also fun!
