These materials will make a difference in our student's learning because they will be running a coffee cart/cafe on their own, learning real life job skills that they can take with them after graduation. They will feel proud and in charge of a project of their own. They can get to know some of the general education teachers and students that they don' typically interact with. The students will learn skills such as: Taking orders on paper, making coffee, cleaning up, re-stocking materials, socializing, delivering and following directions, and money skills. The materials I have requested are a cart, two coffee makers to go along with our third at school, coffee grounds, and the necessary supplies to go along. This will be able to get us started, and making money in order to buy more and run our business.
