In our urban Wisconsin classroom, we have 30 eager and fun-loving students that come to school everyday ready to learn! Our classroom is a safe place where students can be engaged in and explore their learning. Students in our room love to find new ways to solve problems, work on becoming better readers, and explain how their "brains work". Unfortunately, funding is very limited for our district (as it is for many districts) and we do not have a rug for our reading corner. Students never get to hear the old saying, "Come to the rug to hear a story!". Hopefully with your help and donations, students will one day be able to hear that phrase.
