Having a bass bar in our classroom will allow us to add another voice to the music students create each day. Every single student in our school can and will play this instrument throughout the year! Bass bars are especially great for students with learning or physical disabilities, as it provides an easy way for students to play an essential role in music! Bass bars are virtually error proof, allowing all our students to succeed, no matter what ability they may have. Students who cannot master playing multiple notes or who are unable to play multiple notes because of a physical disability can have success on a bass bar. Even students who are hearing impaired can feel the vibrations from a bass bar. Having a bass bar in our classroom would help our students thrive and add a new layer of joy to our music classroom!
