The book shelf furniture will be so beneficial in helping my classroom library be more organized! My students' love for reading continues to grow, but my lack of shelving space is keeping books in stacks. This is making it difficult for students to find a book quickly while also making it challenging to find a genre or book title they are specifically looking for. I have made my library space an area where students can "Lay out with a Good Book." I have pillows and a comfy couch that the students love to use while silent reading time.
Our reading levels and interests continue to grow at different levels and constantly change, but we don't have room to add any more books to our library without more shelving. My students deserve to have a library that's organized and easily accessible. They show great love and responsibility in taking care of the library space on their own without needing reminders. I want to give my students a space that shows every book available. I want the shelves to give them the opportunity to browse all different books until they are inspired.
