Organization and projects like our end of year Roller Coaster unit are what makes the difference in an independent and self sufficient not to mention motivated students. Our Roller Coaster unit involves building theme park rides and designing our own theme park including making visitor maps so that they can move from ride to ride. This project teaches the students how math is applied in a real world job. Answering the question of 'when are we going to use this'. Organization is key in a classroom, it enables students and teachers to relax into routines and procedures that facilitate learning instead of preventing it.

About my class
