My students are a wonderful group that crave knowledge. They love to experiment with different things in the classroom, especially living things. While a lot of biology deals with molecular level stuff, my student's eyes light up when it is related to their everyday lives. Nothing excites my students more than being able to share that sort of information with their friends and family outside of school. As a diverse group of students, each of them have their own special way of learning. In trying to meet these diverse learning needs, I have discovered that many students realize that they enjoy learning styles that they had previously never been exposed to. Experimenting with these new modes of learning is just as exciting to my students as the material itself.
