My students come from diverse backgrounds, and are always excited about learning. Currently 35% of our school's students are eligible for free/reduced lunch. Many come from military families because of the school's location near several military installations. With the transient population that goes along with school location near military installations, it is important that students enter a classroom that is warm and inviting. One of the ways to create this type of environment is to provide a comfortable location for students to practice independent reading.

About my class
