Students are expected to learn about the various facets of our world, yet we do not have a functioning globe in our classroom. Materials, like the maps and globe, will allow students to learn better. Additionally, we expect students to feel engaged and motivated in the classroom, yet we lack the classroom decor and furniture that can help them feel comfortable in the space. Flexible seating, like the saucer chair, can be used to meet students with special education needs as well as serve an incentive for students to work hard and participate in class. Resources funded by this project will make learning Humanities fun and engaging for our 6th graders!
