My goal is to make sure the students walk into my classroom every day and feel eager to be in school, however, my goal is challenged by the high costs of classroom supplies. Although books have been purchased over the years to meet a variety of reading level needs, there are no book pouches to put them in, so that they are preserved for future students. In order for the students to see and understand what is going in class, we will use the chart paper in order to create classroom tips and tricks for them to use when they simply need a little reminder. These materials are only a few of the needed resources necessary to create a safe, and welcoming, space in the classroom that will provide them with a place to make mistakes, but also allow them to grow from them.
