Welcome to East Middle School, home of the East Eagles! My colleagues and I are dedicated to making every moment in the classroom count, paying close attention to our students' unique learning needs, and inspiring them to think creatively and produce authentic student work. Through high expectations, collaborations, and dedication to our students and families, we work hard to develop successful lifelong learners. My 7th, and 8th grade students live and go to school in an urban district. They are the most hardworking group of students I have had the opportunity to work with. Our school is made up of three clusters - mainstream, bilingual, and special education. For the amount of diversity we have within our building, our students have proven that they are a part of a family, and treat each other every day as family.
