These translucent manipulatives will help my students learn technology skills while enhancing social and cognitive development. My classroom technology area is a place where students experiment with light and shadows, color and transparency, layering, and textures. The small amount of translucent manipulatives that I now have in the technology center is cherished by my students. With these translucent manipulatives, my students will have a variety of options to choose from that will help them experience different textures and colors. Every student will have the opportunity to explore any translucent manipulative of their choice. The best way that students learn is by hands-on learning, and these translucent manipulatives will help them learn colors, counting, sorting, textures and patterns.
