When students enter my classroom, they are walking into an environment that makes them feel safe and allows them to be creative and have fun as they learn. I have 18 students who make each day an exciting adventure! My school is an International Baccalaureate magnet school that helps students develop into globally minded, life-long learners. We focus on project-based learning and allow students to inquire into topics that interest them and their unique personalities. We are also a Title 1 school which means a majority of our students come from low-income households. 80% of our students are on free or reduced lunch and all students receive free breakfast everyday.
