Flexible seating allows for choice within the classroom. Students have a sense of freedom to move around and take charge of their own learning. They can wiggle or fidget without being disruptive to others in an environment that is comfortable to them. There is a sense of community built with flexible seating that traditional seating does not allow. It is easier for students to collaborate when they can sit next to each other. I've noticed that when giving my students the option for flexible seating they are more engaged, productive, and calm. All beneficial traits for successful learning! Your donation will help to empower kids to take pride in their own learning and to understand what type of learning works best for them! I believe that choice boosts motivation and engagement in the classroom. Understanding and recognizing what environment is best for individual learning is huge for overall success. Flexible seating allows for a more collaborative learning space that fosters conversation for valuable discussions. Additional options for seating will help my students continue to grow their curiosity and love for learning.
