Our school has very few science resources, most of our labs are bought out of pocket. The items on the wishlist would give my students the opportunity to actually see and touch the concepts that we discuss in class. This makes such a huge difference in how students learn and comprehend the material. The light, sound, and magnetism lab kits would be used in three different grades and would make a large impact on my students. These three concepts are things they deal with daily and being able to truly understand how they work would be wonderful. What is a better way there to understand something than to work with it? The periodic table resources would be used by four different classes and greatly benefit my students. My students frequently ask what different elements look like and they would give them a chance to actually work with those elements.
