My students need these materials so that we can create a positive classroom environment where each student feels that their individual needs are being met. The classroom rug will be a place where we all meet to begin our day, get to know each other in the first few weeks of school, and continue learning throughout the school year. The book display will allow students to discover new titles, genres and authors that relate to specific themes, but it will also be a great way to introduce students to diverse books as they become readers. Finally, the flexible seating options will be used to ensure that all students feel that they are learning in a manner that best suits their strengths and styles. By donating to this project, you will help my students become lifelong learners as they discover new things in this incredible year of growth. Despite being a first year teacher, it is important to me that I find ways to allow for optimal learning to occur in my classroom. These items will allow our space to feel welcoming and conducive to learning. Thank you in advance, and please know that your help is so greatly appreciated by me and my students!
