Part of our district's mission is to develop an educational foundation for students to be life long learners and to be prepared to thrive in a diverse, changing society. In our advancing society, technology is becoming more and more prominent. Therefore, learning to use technology and learning through technology is becoming very important for each child's future success. My students are very motivated to learn, especially with the assistance of technology, and they crave the knowledge of using different forms of technology. Unfortunately, the majority of my students don't have constant access to basic life essentials, let alone access to the many forms of technology and all that this technology has to offer. Therefore, I feel that it is my responsibility as their teacher to provide this experience for them. Adding more technology into my classroom will assist me in further exposing my students to technology and all that it has to offer, and therefore help to ensure their future success.
