I believe the students in any classroom learn more when they are comfortable. There is an old saying that goes "students don't care what we know until the know we care." By giving students choices in where they can be in the classroom to learn it shows that the teachers truly care about them. The most important thing to remember as an educator is that it is all about the students. By supporting the idea of flexible seating in a classroom you are fostering not only academic growth, but social and emotional growth as well. If students physical needs are not being met there is no way that their academic needs can be met. Thank you for helping today's students become the best they can be for tomorrow.
