I want to create a beautiful classroom library corner so that students can feel free to choose a book that interests them. I am hoping to make it interesting and exciting so that the books grab their attention. In this way, students may want to read a book without it being assigned for homework. This can improve their overall literacy so that they can better themselves as students. My overall goal is to implement a “free-read” time during the school week. This may be a moment where I can tell the students are tired or frustrated with things, and this “free-read” will give them a short time to escape into a book and de-stress.
