Incorporating more seating options in our classroom will allow my students to read, write, think, and share in an environment that works best for their learning style. The Cube Chairs will serve many functions in our classroom. The Cube Chair has three uses in one! First,use it as a chair with either a 6" or a 9" high seat. Then, you can flip it over and use it as a table or another seat! The standing desk allows students to stand while they work. Too often in education, we tell them to stop moving, sit still, sit up, pay attention. With this desk, we are allowing them just enough movement to be more comfortable and focus so that they can channel their mental energy on what the lesson is asking them, not thinking, 'I'm really uncomfortable. I wish I could move right now.
