Our class is about to embark on a long-term study of trees! The use of long-term studies in early childhood classrooms is research-based and proven effective in building positive approaches to learning. Long-term studies target every area of development and cater to the whole child. We can't wait to get started learning all about trees! My students are curious about the world around them! Let's help them to build important skills while they explore their environment. These materials may be focused on trees, but they will ultimately foster language and communication skills, social-emotional development, cognitive development, physical development, and literacy and math skills.
