This year I will have 9 students, ages 18-21 years old, in my classroom. This program is designed for students who have moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, that are looking for extra transitional assistance after they would typically exit high school. In our class, we will be working on basic academics (such as broad reading skills, general money understanding, etc.), functional skills, independent living, and community skills. All of their acquired knowledge from this program will help them be successful citizens in today's society!
