The flexible seating will help these students increase on task behaviors by giving them a choice while providing some mobility as well. The engaging materials will also help keep them focused while meeting learning goals. Giving them a voice and sparking their interest will increase their ability to stay focused and remain in designated areas. The students will be allowed to choose what type of seating they desire for specific activities such as large group, shared reading, and small group times. The caddies will allow them to obtain materials of choice for small group and/or journal activities independently while learning to share and take turns with peers.
