My students are in 1st grade in the stage of discovering literature! They have developed a great passion for reading. They are learning to read and are highly motivated on this subject. They love selecting their favorite books from our classroom library. We have limited space to accommodate our activities centers. Bean bags chairs are space savers that can be placed in any corner of our classroom for my students to be able to concentrate during independent reading time. They could better capture the essence and message of their stories when they have a comfortable and independent space to enjoy their reading.
