As we all know 5 and 6 year olds are very energetic, and have a lot of energy throughout the school day. When I learn about new practices that benefit kids, I immediately jump in. Having flexible seating creates an environment that helps students be their best learning selves. Flexible seating increases motivation and engagement when learning. Physical activity is linked to an higher academic performance along with great behavior. My students need to be moving at all times, I encourage it! I believe that all children should be able to sit how they like, and bounce if they choose.
