In the coming weeks our first grade is going to be studying the life cycle of various animals.One of the animals we are studying is the chicken.Our goal for this unit is to enrich the children’s knowledge about the life cycles of living things. During this time the students will observe the development of chicken eggs to learn about different patterns of growth and development in animals. It will also support the development of important scientific reasoning skills such as asking questions about the natural world, collecting data and drawing conclusions. For us to be able to carry out this unit we need your help. We need to purchase an incubator, egg candler, brooder walls, brooder heater, feed and other various supplies. We truly believe the students will enjoy seeing this process and learn valuable lessons. Thank you in advance for supporting our first grade students’ spring science project.
