These different books, resources, and fun learning toys will help encourage my students to grow both physically and academically. Many of my students come from primarily Spanish-speaking homes, providing them with fun and engaging hands-on activities will allow them to see our classroom as a fun place. Providing my students with a calm down corner/reading nook will allow them to have a place where they feel safe and secure. A place where the students can go to grow academically, while also getting in touch with their feelings and having a minute to step away from the learning environment. I was recently hired in January and I was not able to fully stock my classroom with engaging things for the students to feel like they can call our classroom HOME. I have an absolutely amazing group of young, creative, and curious minds. They love engaging with each other, having cozy spots in the classroom, and fun toys to manipulate, play and build amazing things. Please help me bring my classroom dreams to life and provide these students with a more engaging and fun environment.
