One of the most important skills our students learn during Pre-K is fine motor skills. All of the tiny muscles in our hands and fingers have to be developed so we can write and draw! My students desperately need safety scissors to work on those skills! There are early math and language activities in this packet, along with alphabet cards (on a ring, so they can't be lost) to being working on letter sounds, an essential pre-reading skill! I believe the students would be most excited about their personal journal. There is a place to draw a picture, and then two lines to write about their picture. This is a great skills for children to begin with inventive spelling, which is guessing how to spell words by sounding them out.
