When you walk into my classroom you'll find a calming environment complete with lamps, lights, plants, and the aroma of a vanilla scented Scentsy. I'm not a fan of clutter and you will find that everything has a place and is organized. You'll see calm kiddos playing. You will also see that some have ball chairs which is different than the average classroom. In the back of the room you will see a big tank filled with water and in the tank lives, Bubbles, the classroom pet. You'll also find a beach themed reading center where kiddos can escape to the beach chairs to look at their favorite book. Throughout the day you will find structure. You'll find that students don't sit for long. I keep things moving and interesting with enough playtime that busy kindergartners need. You'll see a mixture of small group learning and whole group learning.
