I teach a fantastic group of first graders. They are extraordinary in every possible way and I enjoy every day I am with them. My students all have a lot going on in their lives and in their minds. In order for them to really take in everything they are learning, they need to feel safe, and they need to feel comfortable taking risks and exploring. They come from a range of diverse backgrounds, families, and living situations. My students strive to be their best and do their best in our classroom. They are inspiring to each other and to me.
