I am a third grade teacher. I have been teaching for over 20 years. I know how important it is to create engaging lessons and an environment that all students are comfortable in. Throughout my years, I've had students who are have difficulty sitting still in a regular seat. I have realized students do not need to sit still in a chair to achieve. Many students work best standing, sitiing on floor, lying on floor, sitting in a chair that they might wobble or bounce in.
