It is unknown when my students will be able to return to school in person. For now, students are remote learning at home. Many students have difficulty sitting in front of the computer for 4+ hours a day. These materials will help my students with disabilities to transition to full-time remote learning. Students need pencils, crayons, glue, and scissors to be able to complete assignments and experience familiar mediums of in-person school as they adjust to the "new normal." These hands-on materials, like Play-Doh and white boards, allow my students to demonstrate learning in other ways beyond virtual learning. Supplying students with fidgets and timers will help them to better self-regulate during times of high-stress or anxiety. The small easel will help me to teach my students over Zoom from my home in a familiar and accessible way.
