Developing an engaging and effective learning environment for learners is an important aspect of teaching. This can include alternative seating for students within their classrooms. Alternative seating has been shown to help stimulate student's sensory needs. This stimulation increases focus and ability to process information. Furthermore, it promotes choice, physical health, comfort, collaboration, sense of community, and much more. Wobble stools will be able to provide the option of alternative seating within the classroom. They will not only benefit the learning of students who need that sensory input but all students. I have seen how alternative seating has positivity affected learning in other classrooms. I would love to be able to provide that in more areas in our school.
