Most of my students are juniors in high school. They take my physics class to satisfy their lab science requirement for college entrance. Most of them are not particularly interested in studying physics in the future. I aim to provide a stimulating, safe learning environment that encourages and supports my students to develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. I do this through hands on projects. Most of my students have never built anything with their hands using tools. Some of them do not even know the difference between a nail and a screw. I hope to expose them to these things so that they can use this knowledge later in life. They may not remember any of the physics that I teach them, but they will remember how to think critically and solve problems.
