This year our school's instructional focus is writing across all content areas. My students need more access to engaging technology that will both motivate and excite them about the writing process. A color printer in the classroom is a powerful tool to have to support learning with all my students. My students use Chromebooks daily in class to enhance their learning in different areas. They are learning to write products such as: essays, responses, poster, flyers, poems, writing with pictures for cards and newsletters. My students get excited when they see their writing come to life, and a color printer will provide them with more opportunities to love the writing process. My students listen to their classroom materials, listen to online assessments, they need a good pair of headphones to use with the Chromebooks. A pair of good headphones allows the student to fully focus on their studies, and with time they will enhance their study results and performance. Having a pair of good quality headphones available in school, could give a young student that extra boost they need in order to succeed.
