My goal is to provide my students with a variety of seating options in my classroom, so that they can be comfortable and actively engaged in learning Spanish. Stability balls and wobble stools will provide seating alternatives for students who learn best while being physically active; lounge chairs will serve students who learn best in a less-structured seating arrangement. Students have different learning styles, so why do we expect them all to be comfortable when seated in identical chairs? My hope is that, through this project, students will find the classroom more inviting and optimized for their individual learning needs.
