The use of technology is a daily activity in my classroom. Technology allows me to unlock a world of possibilities for my students with severe disabilities. We use technology individually as well as a whole class. Lessons are projected for all to see, and iPads are used for exploration and free choice time. Students are able to learn about and travel all over the world without leaving the classroom, and they are more actively engaged in every lesson. Technology allows my students to engage with the world just like their regular education peers do. Technology levels the playing field in education; all of my students are motivated by and use technology daily.
