Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds. No two students are the same. Each brings a different story to the classroom. Setting goals and successfully completing them seams to be a similarity amongst most of them. Right now they are at the point in their life when the start to discuss career goals and missions. Many of them talk about wanting to be a doctor, lawyer, or even a professional athlete. Due to their backgrounds, some of the students have a very long and bumpy road ahead of them full of obstacles. After working with them, I know that a majority of them will be able to meet their goals and dreams whatever they may be.
