The block center is one of the most loved areas in our classroom. Students are given an opportunity to build, explore, discover, question, and most importantly, imagine. The unit blocks that I requested will provide them with the raw materials to do just all of that. At this time, we lack these kinds of blocks; students have been using older, paper blocks that have been well loved over the years. These unit blocks will be an exciting addition to our classroom's block center. They are already building and questioning how and why things work all the time. These blocks will help students learn the answers to some of the questions that they have as well as continue to interrogate the world around them.
