"[Science] is more than a school subject, or the periodic table, or the properties of waves. It is an approach to the world, a critical way to understand and explore and engage with the world, and then have the capacity to change that world."President Barack Obama The United States has developed as a global leader, in large part, through the genius and hard work of its scientists, engineers, and innovators. In my classroom, I work towards shaping the minds of these future scientists every day. Success is not only driven by what you know, it's what you can do with that knowledge. These are skills developed through studying science, technology, engineering, and math subjects collectively known as STEM. My goal as an educator is to make sure my students are prepared in order to be successful on a larger scale; to do so, they need many supplemental resources to achieve their full potential.
