Our Elementary School serves students in Pre-K through 5th grade in one of the roughest neighborhoods in the city and directly across the street from a housing project notorious for violence and gang activity. Yet, everyday, our kids show up to school to learn. Despite the challenges we face, our school community strives to be a safe place to inspire, support and nurture our students on a journey to excellence. We believe in the incredible potential of our children and are committed to providing academically challenging, culturally relevant learning options which fully develop the unique talents and gifts of each child at our school. This is no easy task. Our school community is proud of our students, our parent involvement, community support, and our instructional and enrichment programs. Our teachers and staff are some of the MOST dedicated educators that you will ever meet and we hold ourselves accountable to facilitate our students' success and well being.
