I work in a very diverse school. I have a 4th grade, ESL classroom which means that 95% of my students speak a different language. They come from all parts of the world, Honduras, Mexico, and Africa just to name a few. All of my students are economically disadvantaged and have free or reduced lunch. Although they are labeled as being disadvantaged, they come in with bright smiles and are eager to learn. These students are visual learners which means that they learn quicker by seeing rather than having verbal ques.
