I have chosen products that will make my classroom more inclusive for ALL learners. I have chosen multicultural crayons and books that will make all children feel welcome, no matter their race or cultural background. This is always important, but especially so in my Montana classroom where we have less diversity and a need for my non-white students to see themselves represented in my classroom. I also have a very neurodiverse classroom each year. The Bouncy Bands, Wiggle Wobble Chair Feet, sign-language letters, and hands-on literacy toys will help all students connect to the learning we're doing. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to purchase literacy and math activities and games to especially reach those neurodiverse learners, as well.
