We need technology in our classroom to facilitate differentiated learning experiences and help meet the individual needs of my students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). My students require a variety of learning opportunities to help engage them in learning and foster retention of the information. Chromebooks enable the students to have learning experiences similar to their peers by providing a highly motivating resource. My students and I have lost access to our current computers for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. I would love for them to have this technology and they would be very grateful. My students love learning, they just learn differently than other students sometimes and technology will help provide them with another avenue for learning!
