Our R. Middle School (RMS) PBIS program (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) is designed for the faculty and staff to model, teach, & reward students for positive behavior. RMS students and staff are focused on the attributes of showing Respect, Motivation, and Social Responsibility. Our PBIS program is designed to reward those students who continuously show these positive characteristics. Students can earn Zebra Cash and RMS Letters by exhibiting PBIS character traits. Due to COVID 19, PBIS hasn't been able to properly fundraise and we are continually looking for ways to better motivate our students. This project would go towards purchasing better rewards and incentives for RMS students. These incentives will benefit our students because they will reflect the motivation and effort that they have shown to become better citizens and students at R. Middle School. Students will be able to use these items during recess at school and can take certain items home. There are even items that will become part of the PBIS letter lounge. With PBIS, students can earn letters for showing respect, motivation, or social responsibility and use those letters to "buy" time in the letter lounge.
