Real Talk: Bridging Generations - A Student-Led Podcast
Help me give my students a platform to have real, respectful, and unfiltered conversations about current events, social topics, school life, and cultural perspectives through the lens of their generation.
I am incredibly grateful for your generous donations and your interest in supporting my classroom. Your contributions have made a significant impact, allowing my project to be fully funded in such a short amount of time. Thanks to your kindness, my students will have the resources they need to enhance their learning experiences.
Thank you for believing in my classroom and for your continued support. Your generosity truly makes a difference!”
We did it! My students and I cannot thank you enough for your generosity. With everything going on, my students need all the help they can get to stay on top of their work! This will be a game changer in terms of organization, time management, and good grades! Thanks again!!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Brinkley
This classroom project was brought to life by Panda Cares and 4 other donors.
My students and I appreciate your selflessness. Your donations will impact my students more than you know. Every day I try to find ways to reach my students beyond the box of education. Allowing my classroom to be a place of safety and security is my goal as an educator.”
Thank you so much for donating! This is going to help way more than you could ever know. Especially with everything going on in the world, the classroom is a safe space for my students. Cleanliness is extremely important now that COVID-19 has taken over, so I am so happy that I can have supplies to help keep my less fortunate students squeaky clean!”
We have been funded for our classroom library! The students and I are extremely thankful for your donations. Our self-selected reading time and journal entries will now be easier and even more effective. The stools, storage unit, and books are going to have an enormous impact on what self-sustained reading looks like to the students at Frasier Middle School!”
Great readers become great writers. Their vocabulary expands and they are able to pull in more examples for evidence in their writing for state assessments and other writing-related activities.
Having this in-class library will encourage my students to read more in class and they'll get to see characters that look like them, act like them, and are experiencing similar life events. The storage cubes will provide easier access for books for the students since they have to write Reading/Thinking/Writing journal entries every Friday about a book they are reading.
Most of my middle school students have never read a book for entertainment purposes, let alone been to a library that had books full of characters they can relate to. Whenever I ask the students why they do not like reading, they all say the content is boring or they cannot relate to the story being told. Theses special stools and ten books will used by my students for their independent reading.
